Here we offer you three pieces with fossils of the euypterid Parahughmilleria hefteri.
Eurypterids are also called “sea scorpions”.
The pieces come from the Lower Devonian (Lower Klerf Layers) of the Olkenbacher Mulde / Eifel
in Germany.
One stone contains a head shield and parts of the body.
The second stone contains a head shield and a possible appendage "leg".
The third stone clearly shows the body segments and also a "leg" attached on the side.
The exhibits are very detailed - depending on the light - unfortunately this is not sufficiently
shown in the pictures.
In addition to the eurypterids, the stones also contain plant fossils from Taeniocrada.
Fossils of these arthropods from Germany are rare to find and even rarer to purchase.
No manipulations!
