Bone tool

This bone tool was found at the Santa Fe River in Florida, USA. This piece is about 7000 years old.

It is made of a deer antler and a carved bone "pin". Both pieces were found at the same locality seperated from each other and have been put together after cleaning and conservation.

The tool measures about 12 cm. The deer antler measures about 3,5 cm in diameter.
