Here we offer a rare example of the miocene "leaves clay" of Wischgrund, Germany. This location once was a former local part of Kostebrau (near Cottbus). The site was on the edge of a big opencast mine. It disappeared forever because it has been excavated completely in 1986.
This stone contains remainings of cypress, elm and oak. It is unbroken and measures approximately 10 x 8 x 1 cm. At the backside there are some plants remainings as well.
