This stone shows interesting resting and walking tracks of Trilobites.
The piece dates from the Ordovician and is around 445 million years old.
It was found at Erfoud in Morocco, Africa.
The slab contains two clearly visible resting traces (Rusophycus) of Trilobites
Interesting: One of them shows wonderfully preserved footprint traces (Cruziana)
and you can even see the imprints of the small legs of this arthropod on the
side of the body (which is extremely rare!!!)
The stone is unbroken, it measures about 18 x 14 x 2.5 cm.
The "body" of the larger Trilobite measures about 6 cm, including the track this
fossil measures about 12 cm.
Original find condition without any manipulations!
Great and very detailed preservation!
