Plant fossil, permian age

This interesting plant fossil comes from the Permian age layers (Rotliegendes) of Bad Sobernheim in Germany.

Unusual round shaped leafs.

It comes from an old collection and was found in the year 1974. The site (Ziegelei Eimer) is 
famous for its splendidly preserved plant fossils.
Unfortunately, the site has long been inaccessible, and fossils from there are very rarely on the market.

The stone is unbroken, it measures about 8 x 5,5 x 2 cm.
