Thaumaturus - Bony fish from Messel pit #2

This is a professionally made reproduction of a Messel fish Thaumaturus intermedius.

The fish measures about 7 cm. The plate measures about 9,5 x 5.5 cm. On the back there is a hanger attached.

Very detailed exhibit made of special ceramic - a cheap alternative to the original fossil.

Looks like a real Fosil! Hard to distinguish from the original!
