Pleistocene fish from El Salvador # 1

This little fish comes from the plio/pleistocene sediments of Rio Sisimico, El Salvador. Very unusual location! It is out of an old collection.

The fish measures about 2,5 cm. The matrix is original, unbroken and measures about 5 x 5 x 1 cm.

The stone contains (mainly on its backside) some more tiny fossils from plants and animals.

At this unusual location one can find fantastic preserved fossils of insects, plants and even amphibian. Please see our category "amphibian", there youÂŽll find two little frogs of the same location.

All is original, nothing was glued, lacquered, painted or reconstructed!
