Products description

This is the right side leg bone (Tibia) of a red deer Cervus elaphus. It was found in the pleistocene age sediments of the river Rhine in Germany. The location is Stockstadt near Rhine.

The fossil measures about 24 cm in length. It is massive, solid and heavily mineralized.

Unbroken piece with no manipulations at all.
