This extinct fossil crab Coeloma balticum was found in the Eocene age layers of Hahndorf / Peine in Germany. It is a piece from an old collection, the place of discovery is now extinct.
The fossil is unbroken without any manipulations. The Carapax of the animal measures about 4 cm. One could remove other parts of the crab - some legs are still covered with stone.
Rarely offered fossil - the closed location makes this piece even more interesting for German collectors.
