Jewelry Polished Pyrite Ammonites #2

Here we offer a bigger sized and nicely polished Pyrite Ammonite. It was found in the lower jurassic (Lias) sediments of Truc de Balduc, Mende, France. One side is polished, the other side is natural. There is a silver hanger attached to the fossil.

The fossil is unbroken, it measures about 5,2 cm in diameter.
