Sendenhorstia fish fossil #1

This nice fish Sendenhorstia comes from the cretaceous deposits of Hgula in Lebanon.

These fishes are named after a German locality (Sendenhorst) - one can find similar fishes there.

The animal measures about 11 cm. The plate is unbroken, it measures about 19 x 13 cm. Two little shrimps are also preserved.
