This partial fossil frog was found in the famous eocene layers of Messel near Darmstadt, Germany. The age of this fossil is about 45 mio. years.
The frog measures about 13 cm. The slab measures about 18 x 14 cm.
Fossils from Messel are highly sought after and are rarely offered for sale. Frogs from this location are absolute rarities.
