A bigger fish has a smaller one inside his mouth. The appetite was bigger than the mouth and so both fishes did not survive this last meal.

The bigger fish is a Clupea, the smaller one a Serranus. The fossil dates from the Oligocene age . It was found in the Biesczady Mountains, Jamna-Area, in the southeast of Poland.

The fossil measures about 11 cm. The matrix is original and unbroken, it measures about 30 x 21 cm.

No manipulations at all!
