These petrefied eggs of the turtle Stylemus nebrascaensis were found in the oligocene sediments of Converse County, Wyoming, USA. Their age is about 33 mio. years.
The eggs masure around 3 cm in diameter. Both eggs are still embedded in their unbroken originalslab. The matrix measures about 12 x 12 x 7 cm.
Very interesting unbroken double-egg without any manipulations!
