Ischyromis typus skull #2

This skull of the squirrel ancestor Ischyromis typus was found in the oligocene layers of the White River Badlands, South Dakota, USA. The age of this fossil is about 35 mio. years.

The skull is excellent preserved and not deformed not deformed. The skull measures about 7 x 4 cm.

The prepping is excellent, the fossil still is attractively placed on top of its original sediment. Nice display piece!
