Products description

This fossil jaw of Odontopteryx dates from the Cretaceous of the phosphate mines of Kouribga, Morocco.

It is a bird-jaw with 4 teeth. These rare fossils were previously interpreted as the remains of fish, only recently we know that these are the remains of early birds.

The fossil measures about 20 cm. The matrix is original and unbroken, it measures about 29 x 14 x 8 cm.

No manipulations at all!

Rarely offered fossil!
