Here we offer a nice plant in positiv/negativ-preservation. The fossil was found in upper jurassic limestone of Solnhofen/Germany.
This plant is a Brachyphyllum nepos (SAPORTA). Land-plants are quite rare findings in the Solnhofen area. In addittion to that they often are hard to see because of their bad contrast. An attractive piece like this with such an excellent contrast is really something very unusual!
The plant measures about 7 x 6 cm. Both matrix slabs are broken once and have been repaired professionally. They measure around 14 x 14 cm.
No colour was used, all the contrast is ORIGINAL!!!
As a "gift" you will find two little Ammonites in that slabs
Of course you will receive both slabs.
