Dinosaur egg from France

This Dinosaur egg of Hypselosaurus spec. was found in the famous reddish cretaceous layers of Aix en Provence in France.

The egg is complete preserved, unbroken and is still covered with its original shell. It measures about 23 x 18 x 10 cm. The fossil is quite massive and heavy, it weighs about 5 kilograms.

A few shells have come apart and have been reglued, no further manipulations.

It is strictly forbidden to dig at this location for many years. That is why these kind of fossils are extremely rare for sale. This one was part of an old collection.
