This rare shrimp fossil Eryon arctiformis comes from the Upper Jurassic (Malm) layers of Eichstätt in Germany.
The animal is attractively placed in the middle of the original plate. The crab measures approximately
13 cm. It is beautifully prepped and shows many details
A special feature of the animal is its interesting chewing apparatus.
The plate was broken and have been glued; it measures approximately 19 x 14 cm.
