This fossil fish Gyrolepis was found in the middle triassic layers (Upper Muschelkalk, Nodosus Zone) of Volkach in Germany.

The fossil measures about 10 cm, it is still inside the original and unbroken nodule.

Muschelkalk fishes are rarely offered as the prepping is very difficult.

No manipulatins at all!
