Sintered crab from Turkey

This sintered crab comes from near Cardak in Denizli in Turkey. The age of this find unfortunately is not known to us.

The animal measures about 9 cm. Worth mentioning in this animal is the slightly shifted carapace - which allows an interesting view into the body. The unbroken original matrix measures about 22 x 11 cm.

This is a beautiful and rarely offered collection piece.
