Cheirolepis devonian

This extremely rare fish named Cheirolepis spec. was found in the middle devonian (Orkney Islands) of Scottland.

The fish is complete, it measures about 33 cm in length.  The slab is broken once, it measures about  40 x 24 cm. Its prepping took a loooong time and is fantastic! Look at that nice skull with these incrdible teeth!

Broken once and glued, no other restaurations. The tail is from the same individual, no composit!
