Glanochthon latirostris skull partial

Here we have the partial skull of a permian amphibian called Glanochthon latirostris. It was found in Odernheim/Pfalz, Germany. 

The skull measures about 9 cm. It`s preservation is excellent. The three little bones do belong to this skull as well, but there is no direct connection to the biggest one.

All the bones have been stabilized from the backsides.

Since many years it is strictly forbidden to dig in that location. ThatÂŽs the reason why these kind of fossils become pretty rare and are hard to get. This one comes from an old collection.
