Products description
This tooth of Placodus gigas wasfound in the the Middle Triassic layers - more precisely Upper Muschelkalk - of Bindlach near Bayreuth.
The tooth is completely preserved and unbroken, it measures about 3.5 x 2.5 cm.
Fossils of Placodus are extremely rare finds and every collector is happy about such a great specimen.
No manipulations.
