This shark egg case (Spirangium juglieri) was found in the cretaceous (Wealden) layers of Nienstedt/Deister, Germany.
The egg measures about 6 cm. The matrix is unbroken and original, it measures about 9 x 5 x 1,5 cm.
No glue, no repairings at all!
Fossilized remainings of shark eggs are very rare. The german location makes this piece even more interesting.
