Products description

This slab with several dragonfly larvae was found in the upper miocene layers of Castiliole d 'Asti, Northern Italy. The age of these fossils is about 38 mio. years.

There are two very nice individuals on the front (even showing the legs) and two more partial ones on the backside of the stone.

The slab is unbroken, it measures about 5,5 x 5 cm.

Sometimes these kind of inssects have been painted - to create a better contrast or even add some missing legs - NOT here - all is in original condition - just as found - no paint has been added!

No manipulations at all!
