Nothosaur (?) tooth #5

This tooth of ?Nothosaurus was found in middle triassic layers of Würzburg, Germany.

It is well preserved and measures about 3 cm. The tooth is very wide which is very rare and unusual, maybe it belongs to another anmial.

The unbroken originalslab measures around 7 x 5 cm.

The tooth has been covered with a thin layer of laquer, no further manipulations.
