Huge walrus rib # 2

This huge rib of a walrus (Halitherium) was found in the oligocene aged sediments of Weinheim near Alzey, Germany.

It is complete and heavyly mineralized.

The fossil measures about 47 cm (along the curve). It was broken and have been repaired. Some gaps have been filled.
