Saurichthys skull, triassic age

This skull of Saurichthys comes from the lower Muschelkalk (middle triassic, so called "Orbicularis layers") of Farnstädt in Germany.

The skull is completely preserved with some teeth, it measures about 6 cm. The stone is original and unbroken, it measures about 12 x 9 x 2 cm.

The fossil could be uncovered even further.
