Steneosaurus skull

This skull of the crocodile-like reptile Steneosaurus spec. comes from the Lower Jurassic (Lias epsilon) of Dotternhausen near Balingen
in Germany.
This fossil is approximately 180 million years old.

The skull measures an impressive 74 cm and has excellent dentition.

The fossil was broken and professionally glued – no further manipulations!

A museum-worthy rarity!
