Devonian plant Calamophyton

This stone dates from the Middle Devonian period of the Bergisches Land region in Germany. 

It contains fossils of the plant Calamophyton sp.
These are the first true trees with continuous branching.

Interesting and rare – a piece of stem with various branches and sporangia.

The slab was broken once, it measures approximately 20 x 9 x 3 cm.

No tampering whatsoever!
