Permian plants Sobernheim

This great plant fossil comes from the Perm (Rotliegendes) of Bad Sobernheim.
It comes from an old collection and was found in 1974. The site (Ziegelei Eimer) is famous for its magnificently preserved
plant fossils. Unfortunately the location has long been inaccessible and fossils from there are very rare on the market.
Old collection piece from an estate.
The stone is unbroken, it measures about 19 x 16 x 3 cm
