Steneosaurus foot Holzmaden

These foot bones of the crocodile Steneosaurus bollensis come from the lower Jurassic (Lias epsilon) of Holzmaden in Germany.

The bones are wonderfully three-dimensional preserved and have been expertly excavated from the rock.

The piece was broken and have been glued glued - no other manipulations.

The stone measures about 22 x 19 cm.

Rarely offered and well prepared original fossil from world famous classicgerman location.
